Your AION 2 character and game data are associated with the NC Account you were using when the character was created. Unlinking Steam from that NC Account and linking Steam to a different NC Account does not transfer your character or game data to the new account.

If you no longer see your character after changing your Steam account link, follow the path below that matches how you originally started playing AION 2.
\n\n
1) In order to log into your original NC account (the one that has your character(s) please follow the steps below:
\nNavigate to the NC Website (https://id.plaync.com/account/logininfo) and select Steam as your login method and log in via Steam.
\n2) Once you’ve logged in, navigate to the Manage Login page and you’ll need to link another
login method to this NC account. You must establish another link as you
cannot unlink Steam unless you have another login method.
-This can be a gmail account that you create for this purpose.
\n3) Once you’ve established a second link, log out of your NC account.
4) Log into the NC website again using that new link you just established.
- If you made a gmail account in the above step you’d sign in via google with that
new account.
5) Go to the Manage Login page again and you should now see an option to unlink Steam.
6) Once you’ve successfully unlinked your Steam account follow the steps below to relink
your desired Steam account to your NC account that has your character data.

Linking a Steam account:
1) Log in by selecting another login method that you had linked to the your associated
account prior to unlinking your Steam account.
2) Go to the 'Manage Login' page (https://id.plaync.com/account/logininfo).
3) Navigate to Steam and \"Connect\" the Steam account you want to play on.
Your NC and Steam account should now be linked.
