Please complete the following steps before checking for hardware-related issues.

Verify the Integrity of Your Steam Game Files

Crashes or Fatal Errors may occur due to corrupted or missing game files.

  1. Launch Steam.

  2. Go to your Library.
    3. \n
  3. Right-click the game and select “Properties.”
    4. \n
  4. Select \"Installed Files.\"
    5. \n
  5. Click \"Verify Game Files.\"

Steam will automatically check the installed game files and, if any are corrupted or missing, will redownload the necessary files.

Disable Overlays and Hardware Monitoring Programs

Some overlays, hardware monitoring, or GPU tuning programs may conflict with the game and cause it to crash.

If you are using an Intel 13th or 14th Gen desktop processor, we recommend updating to the latest stable version of the BIOS provided by your motherboard manufacturer.

BIOS updates may include CPU stability improvements and the latest Intel microcode.

For instructions on how to update the BIOS, please refer to the official support page of your motherboard manufacturer.

If you are using an NVIDIA graphics card and experience crashes, please disable G-SYNC in the NVIDIA Control Panel and then resume playing.
